Cecelia Bussey Rainey

Cecelia Bussey Rainey, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 16, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born May 6, 1936 to the late Harvey and Minnie Brinson Bussey; also preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Roland Rainey; sisters, Mary Macklin and Betty Williams; brothers, Harvey, William and John Bussey. She is survived by her sons, Kevin, Mark and Shawn (Lisa) Hamilton; beloved grandson, Bryce Hamilton; special nieces and nephews, including, Lesia Haw, Brian (Francine) Williams, Harvey Bussey, Mary Ann Bussey and Craig Hamilton; close family friends, Barbara Green, Brittany Noone and Victor Rainey; many cherished friends and extended family members. Cecelia graduated from Columbus East High School in 1953 and maintained cherished friendships over the years. She loved to dance! She enjoyed listening to good jazz, going on cruises and gambling; playing the slots was a favorite past-time of hers. She also enjoyed playing tennis and Bid Whist (card game). She treasured time spent with her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E.
