

Charles Richard Baxley, Jr., age 57, of Upper Arlington died unexpectedly Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was born October 22, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Charles Richard, Sr. and Juanita (Hornung) Baxley. Chuck was a financial advisor with Stifel-Nicolaus for 11 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 22 years, Tricia (MacPhail); his sons, Kevin and Ryan; his father, Charles R., Sr. and his sister, Judy Baxley. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Baxley. Chuck was a 1976 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and received a Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a member of First Community Church. Throughout his adult life, Chuck was active in many community and civic organizations and especially enjoyed coaching his sons in Optimist basketball and UA Bearcub baseball. Chuck's greatest joy was his sons, Kevin and Ryan, and he will be dearly missed and never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Main Sanctuary at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Boulevard, where family will receive friends from 10;00- 11:00 am Saturday in Brownlee Hall.
