

Charles J. Conrad, 85, passed away in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 22, 2010 from complications of pneumonia. Charles served his country honorably in WWII as an Aviation Ordnanceman in the United States Navy. Charles was a Tool and Die Maker and spent most of his career at Western Electric in Columbus, Ohio. Charles was happily married to his only wife Hazel for 45 years who passed away in 1996. Survivors include his sons, Charles N. (Cassie) Conrad, Sr. of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, and David (Gayle) Conrad of O’Fallon, MO; grandchildren, Charles N. (Jill) Conrad, Jr., Michael Conrad, Scott (Anna) Conrad, and Alex Conrad; four great grandchildren; and brother, Harold Conrad of Dayton, OH. Friends may call Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 11:30AM until time of funeral service at 1:30PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Charles will be buried next to his loving wife Hazel at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
