Charles Curtis Knapper

CJ Knapper, age 21, was tragically taken from this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 23, 1998. CJ attended Groveport Madison School District and graduated from Focus East. He was a very hard worker, loved to play basketball, and dreamed of traveling the world someday. He was preceded in death by his dear friend, Manman. CJ is survived by his mother, Melissa Snyder; step-father, Hopeton “Danny” Johnson; siblings, Eric Wilder, Brianna Snyder, Nicholas Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Angela Knapper and Mark Booker; nephews, Jahvale Brown, Stephon Wilder, Giovonni Booker-Martin, Di’Angelo Booker-Martin, Tashawn Brice, and Vontez Brice; grandmother, Barbara Snyder; uncle, Anthony Snyder; great-aunts, Marilyn Conckle and Becky (Ron) Kaiser; best friend, Lamont Bryant; girlfriend, Allee Cremeans; father, Charles Knapper and family. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where the family will receive friends from 2-3 pm. Masks are required and attendance levels will be monitored to 25 people in the room at a time in accordance with social distancing requirements.
