Charles H. Meyers, age 83, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was a graduate of Central High School. Charles proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Capital University and Masters of Arts from Ohio State University. Charles taught at West High School, then moved to Hilltonia Junior High as an assistant Principal. He transferred to Johnson Park Junior high as the principal and then to Eastmoor High School as the principal, where he retired in 1979. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beatrice; children, Lea Ann (Patrick) O’Brien and Charles (Cindy) Meyers; grandchildren, Dexter and Alexis Meyers, April, Sally and Erin O’Brien; brother, William Meyers; and sister, Mildred Renouf.
