Charles Stein

Fortified in Holy Mother Church, Charles L. Stein passed away peacefully Friday November 5th, 2021, surrounded by family. Charles was born January 25th, 1946, in Akron Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Herbert Stein and Winnifred Woody Stein and his sister Susan Veith. Charles is survived by his wife Laura Stein; children Lauren (Michael) Menning, Kristen (Jerry) Underwood, Steven (Devin) Stein and Lyndy (Scott) Bowen; grandchildren, Amanda and Logan Menning, Elliott and Laney Underwood, Crew Bowen and Henry Stein. Charles graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Economics and was a member of TKE fraternity. Charles was a business leader and entrepreneur, world traveler, active member of Dublin Rotary, pilot, avid reader of history. He enjoyed volunteering in charitable and community activities throughout his life. As an accomplished chef his greatest love was his family, spending time with them in the kitchen cooking together and sharing great meals. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday November 18th from 9:30am to 11:00am at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church located at 6899 Smoky Row Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43235. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00am that same morning. SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN is assisting the family with arrangements.
