We have known Lynn for many years, mainly through our prayer call every Tuesday morning for over 12 years.  We would pray for our Nation each Tuesday and we will miss Lynn's fervent prayers.  We will be praying for Sandra and the entire family during this time of grief.

We have known Lynn & Sandy and Adrienne Strayer for years .. We attended the couples  Bexley Group at Susan Thomas home .. I went willingly but not Dane .. Lynn never stopped trying to encourage my husband Dane to come  when he finally stated coming Dane was the best attendee of the entire group he  never missed a meeting and I know it all had to do with Lynn’s dynamic personality & God that kept him going I think over 7 years .. Lynn continued to be diligent on visiting my husband after all these years to have lunch with him they developed a friendship and always picked up where they left off .. 
Lynn was a great man that would meet you where  you were did not judge you had a great business mind and a gift of gab also dearly devoted to his Wife & family .. I always knew I could call him throughout the years and ask for help & Guidance & Prayer .. when I think of all the memories of our small group and the tears laughter and closeness we all have to this day if one another  there will never be another Small Group like ours with Lynn leading it ..

 FYI Dane to this day has not found a group he would join like Lynn’s .. we will miss him but I am sure God has him busy right now doing a small group.. Lynn say hi to Jerry Thomas I am sure he is glad to have you with him ..   :heart:

I knew Lynn for many years at East Side Grace.  He was a strong, faithful man, always full of hope and confidence.  He was a good friend, husband, father and church member.  I will miss him.

I worked with Lynn and now Ben for many, many years at Discover.  Lynn was an early mentor in my career.  He taught me a lot of lessons in leadership that have carried me throughout my career.  More importantly, he was a genuinely honest and overall great human being.  His legacy carries on in his family but especially in his son Ben who I am sure has made and will continue to make Lynn proud  It was an honor to know Lynn and to have been able to spend much of my early career with him.

I was lucky for have had an opportunity to know Lynn and am very sad at his passing.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.

Lynn served on the West High School Student Court.

Later, Lynn went on to continue to serve Christ through East Side Grace Brethren Church as a special member, strongly, actively & assiduously (with Grace and MIGHT), demonstrating his gifts & faith by sharing his blessings with a smile so BRIGHT!

It's difficult to iterate or herewith WRITE--I just couldn't QUITE CITE
All the loving ways he displayed such heavenly INSIGHT and Biblical SALT & LIGHT

However, alas, he had to FIGHT
A most difficult PLIGHT
But his beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, concluded his earthly journey
With a glorious FLIGHT
To his heavenly home where for him and all believers,
Eternal Life makes all things RIGHT!

We send our most genuine condolences to all his loved ones remaining here.  May your grief eventually be replaced with fond memories and thankfulness for the time you had with him.

But to Lynn & Heaven we celebrate and cheer his new SITE
Where he can continue serving our precious Lord Day & NIGHT*

I worked with Lynn for several years at the Granville Investment Group. He was a fine, caring, honest man of faith and a pleasure to know and to work beside. Lynn demonstrated  his faith daily through his interactions with customers and staff. He always had a kind word of wisdom for everyone and every situation. Lynn ran the good race and finished well. I'm certain he will be sorely missed by family and friends. I have no doubt he is with our Lord and Savior and we will meet again. RIP Lynn.

Lynn Strayer, is an outstanding roll model as a godly man. He commited many hours serving in our local church. He served his family as a loving Father and husband, and was nostranger meeting people. He served in the children ministries with his wife Sandy and his daughter Adriane. over 25 years. They aerved as a family and loved serving.  
Lynn taught the class How to Serve Jesus without fear.  There were more men than women in this class and they asked questions and participated with others in the class.  Lynn personalize as he taught the Scriptures.  He visited many homes as an ambassador of Christ.  His witness and friendly talks gave people hope and encouragement.  He visited our home several times and when he leave, he always asked what special need can I pray for.  Those prayers were like sweet savior to the nostrils of God.  God knew him before the foundation of the world before Lynn was ever born to be holy and blameless. Ephesians 1:1-4. Lynn presented himself that way.  When God looks at the palm of His hand , God sees Lynn's name in his palm. The day or date when Lynn trused and received Jesus as his savior, God declared him righteousness and came inside of him to live there forever.  God made him come alive in Jesus and raised Lynn up and seated him in the heavenlies. Ephesians 2:1,6,9-10; Colossians 3:1-4. .Lynn's life is hidden in God through Jesus Christ.  He is secure in Jesus Christ forever and ever.  We who have trusted Jesus Christ as our Savior, we will see Lynn again.  He is there in Christ, He sees and knows my husband Jim and met my son Dana James Stone, and many others who loved Jesus and were saved.  Lynn brought many people to salvation.  I know God is comforting his wife and daughter.  I feel her hurt and God will bring her through as she continues to serve her family.  To define LYNN, and his wife, SANDY, and daughter  ADRIANE WITH ONE WORD. LOVE LOVE.

I used to be part of our Evangelism Explosion at East Side and went with Lynn many times to visit people who came to visit Eastside. Lynn had such a beautiful way to bring the message of salvation. He also taught my granddaughters in Sunday School with Sandy and Adrienne. The girls loved them. He was such a beautiful man if God. He will be missed.

This is the smile I remember so fondly of Lynn.  He was a very nice man who was my boss at Discover, and then became my friend.  He once offered to come back to New Albany to drive me all the way to Galloway during a storm because he knew I was afraid to drive in the storm......that was Lynn.  We travelled together, and he never left me at the airport a true gentleman.  He loved the Lord with all his heart, so he is in good hands.  I know that will give his family great comfort during this time. Job well done pal.  Rest in peace
