

Charles A. “Charlie” Wright, age 100, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born January 18, 1913 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late James and Althea Wright. He was an avid euchre player and a huge O.S.U. Buckeye fan. He was a member of the Evans Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed gardening, golfing, and watching the Cincinnati Reds. Charlie was also a member of the Belles and Beaus Square Dance Club and the Family Ties Square Dance Club. He greatly enjoyed clogging as well. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alberta “Peaches” Wright, son, Charles E. Wright and brothers, Oscar and Merrill Wright. He is survived by children, Shirley (Benny) Keyser, Charlene (Bob) Geer, Mary Jane (Popeye) Thompson, Carolyn Davis, and JoAnne (Craig) Thomas; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be 10-11am Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the funeral service will follow at 11am with Rev.
