Charlotte F. King

Charlotte Marie (Stangle) King entered this world on April 26, 1933 and went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Daughter of the late James and Mildred (Walcutt) Stangle, Charlotte has a brother James Stangle of Lady Lakes, Florida, who survives, and a sister, Jean (Stangle) Daubert, deceased. Charlotte shared her life with Marvin King, her husband of 69 years, recently deceased. Charlotte has 2 children, son, Michael King of Columbus and daughter, Judy (King) Sanchez of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren, Angela (Sanchez) Knutson, Fernando Sanchez, and Joseph Sanchez; and 4 great grandchildren.

Charlotte was raised in Columbus, Ohio, and married Marvin on November 12, 1951. After raising their children in Newark, Heath, and Johnstown, Ohio, Marvin and Charlotte moved to Columbus. Charlotte loved providing new opportunities to her family. Her love, guidance, support, and protection were cherished. An inquisitive learner who loved the outdoors, Charlotte enjoyed golf, genealogy, dancing with her husband and friends, and encouraging her children's activities. At the end of Charlotte's days, the lifelong faith thar filled her with hope culminated in a peaceful sleep, as Charlotte left this world to be with her Savior. Family will receive friends on Sunday March 14, 2021 from 4-6 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43032. Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 15, 2021 at 10am. Interment at Glen Rest Cemetery.
