

Chelsea Atha, 31, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2020. She was born in Westerville on September 27, 1988 to William and Julia (Gall) Atha. Chelsea was preceded in death by her father, William Atha; her grandparents, Howard and Yvonne Atha and Louis and Geraldine Gall; and her uncles, David Atha and Lawrence Gall.
Chelsea graduated from Westerville North High School and attended Central Ohio Technical College where she graduated with a business degree. Chelsea had a loving and caring heart and a boisterous laugh that would fill the room. Above everything, Chelsea took great pride in loving and caring for her five-year-old son Cooper and being with her family. She was also very close with her many cousins.
In her free time Chelsea loved attending concerts. She had a passion for arts and crafts especially sewing. She enjoyed being in nature and kayaking with friends. On Saturday's Chelsea could be found watching or attending OSU football games with her father.
Chelsea will be greatly missed by her mother Julia Atha; sister, McKenzie (Nicholas) Piper and her newly born nephew, Camden; her son, Cooper Shea and his father Edward Shea; Step-grandmother, Ella Mae Gall; aunts and uncles, Michael Gall, Charles Gall, Marcia (Steve) Lawrence, Kenneth (Ann) Gall, Ronald (Sandy) Gall, Joanne (Mark) Salyer, Richard (Diane) Atha, Nancy (Joe) Melville, Thomas (Cindy) Atha, and Robert (Carol) Atha, Gay Atha; and many close cousins, friends, and extended family
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020, at 10:30AM at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 State Route 3, Westerville, OH, 43082. Face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines are advised.
In Lieu of flowers, a fund in Cooper's name for his education has been set up through any US Bank location.
