

Charles W. Thomas, age 81 of Upper Arlington, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. Chuck was born November 4, 1932 in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of the late Charles and Pansy Thomas. Also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Janet Thomas. Chuck graduated from Worthington High School and The Ohio State University and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was the founder of Noxious Vegetation Control Inc. and Helicopter Minit Men Inc. He was a member of the Buckeye Club, Presidents Club, and past member of Scioto Country Club. Chuck was a dynamic man who had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor. He was family oriented and enjoyed spending time golfing and traveling in his RV. In addition, Chuck was also a big Buckeye Fan and was known for always being seen in his cowboy boots. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Donna Thomas; sister, Mary Hansen; children, Terri, Todd, Tom (Carla) Thomas and Tracy (Bill) Hunt; grandchildren, Jessica and Corrine Cicale, Tyler and Carrigen Thomas, Kayla Weekly, Zayne and Payge Miller, and Tracy Woodward; great granddaughter, Sophia Weekly; Donna's family; many loving nieces, and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service Sunday.
