Chung K. Yin

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hyeon Yin; two sons, Leopold Yin, M.D. and Patrick Yin; and two grandsons, Maxwell and Owen.

Chung received his M.D. from Seoul National University, College of Medicine in 1970. He served in the Korean Army from 1970-1973 as a Surgeon, attaining the rank of Captain.

His medical training included Chief Residency and Fellowship at Down State Medical Center, Radiation Oncology, in Brooklyn, New York 1976-77.

He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1979 and served as a Radiation Oncologist at Mount Carmel Health, Riverside Methodist Hospital, The Ohio State University Medical Center, and Chillicothe Medical Center.

Dr. Yin was Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University, Division of Radiation Oncology, 1982-1984. In 1998, he became Director of Radiation Oncology at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Chung was also President of the Korean American Association of Central Ohio for two years.
