

Clarence Alvin Salliey was born on September 18, 1952. He was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020. He was sixty-seven years of age. He is preceded in death by his Aunt Mary, Aunt Penny, Cousin Rochelle and Cousin Allison. Clarence is survived by his parents Ernest and Delores Salliey. He is also survived by his siblings Clyde Otis, Anthony, Rochelle Salliey and Tashena Ackerman; Sister-in-laws DeVonne and Paulette Salliey. He leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife Judy Young-Salliey, her daughter Tina and his children Mignon, Clarence Jr., Chris, Kyheem Salliey, Harry Clarke; grandchildren, Tahrik, Josh, Shae, Sanai, John, Shawn, Eric, Tina, Talia, Kylan; Aunts, Uncles, Minnie Pearl, Uncle Hoppy, Uncle Curtis, Uncle Frederick, Aunt Tiny and Ernestine; Special Cousin Edward (Tessy). Nieces and Nephews, Tameeka, Clyde, Jasmin, Jaris, Rhonda, Anthony Jr., Ayana, Deja, Dena, Durron, Juwan and Cincere. Great Niece and Nephew, Justin and Jia, along with a host of relatives and friends. Clarence Alvin Salliey was no stranger to anyone. He kept bright smiles on anyone's face whether they were having a bad day or just under the weather. He remembered everyone's birthday and/or anniversary whether family or friend, creating calendars and pictures for keepsakes and so on. Clarence Alvin Salliey always kept in contact with family and never missed a beat on any family events that he inspired or was a part of. He was a member of his church, New Salem Baptist Church. He also was very passionate about his job as a Sleep Lab Technician, working at Riverside Methodist Hospital and for Central Ohio. Clarence Alvin Salliey was enjoyed by so many with words of wisdom and always appreciated by all from the depths of Brooklyn to his final resting place Columbus, Ohio that he shared with his loving wife, children, sister and grandchildren. Clarence will be remembered and never forgotten. He will rest in everlasting peace. During this time of national concern, private services are entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH FUNERAL HOME.
