Colleen Jones Green, 53, of Columbus, entered into eternal life Sunday, November 15, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Colleen was born November 14, 1956 in Columbus and was a graduate of North High School. She was a lifelong resident with the exception of a short move to Oklahoma. Colleen spent most of her time volunteering for different events at the Nazarene Towers, where she had many friends and acquaintances. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Jones, and brother, Michael Jones, Colleen is survived by her loving mother, Margaret “Peggy” Jones; son, Ricky Terry; daughter, Carla Bush; sisters, Barbara Stasko and Marilyn Bush; nephews, Corey and David Bush and Adam Abram; and special friend, Dale Yates. Colleen was a devoted friend to all she knew and was the kind of friend that everyone came to for advice.
