

Collins Wight, Jr., age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1949 to the late Helen Jenkins Wight and Collins Wight. Collins grew up in a military family traveling the world. He graduated high school from Culver Military Academy and received his Bachelor of Science degree in East Asian Studies from The Ohio State University, where he met the love of his life, Jill. Collins proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Over the years, he worked as a banker for Franklin Federal and PNC banks. He was an NRA instructor, enjoyed shooting, watching the Buckeyes, and caring for any dog, especially his beloved dog Sammy. His greatest passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Collins was preceded in death by his soul mate and love of his life, Margaret "Jill" Wight. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Russ (Niki) Wight and Randy (Julie) Wight; grandchildren, Russell "Rusty", Jr., Jenna, Riley, and Remington; step-mother, Ching Wight; half-brothers, Henry (Alice) Wight and Lawrence (Kathy) Wight; half-sister, Lisa Wight; brother-in-law, Jack (Denise) Morris; aunt, Dorothy Borders; cousins, Carol Wight and Allan Wight; several nieces; dear friends, Mary Lilly and Sandy and Bryant Riley. Family will receive friends 11 am to 1pm Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 8530 Lilly Chapel Georgesville Rd., London, OH 43140, where the funeral service will begin at 1pm.
