Connie (Mary C.) January 9; Born in Springfield, OH, January 15, 1925, to Paul and Martha Morris. Graduated North High School, Columbus 1941. Longtime resident of Akron, where she worked with husband of 49 years, Melvin C. Benedict, DVM, at Coventry Animal Clinic.
Survived by children, MarSue (Heinz) Birtler, Spencer (Janet) Benedict, Roberta (Ben) Ulmer, Patrick (Sallie) Benedict; grandchildren, Rudy Birtler, Betsy (Craig) Fassel, Jennifer Birtler-Clark, Andrew (Bobbie McTurner) Ulmer, Sarah Benedict; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Evelyn and Samuel Clark; Abby and Max Fassel; Harper Ulmer; nephews, David (Karen) Hodges, Richard Hodges, Jeff (Michelle) Benedict.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. Interment 12 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
