Constance R. Page

PAGE, Constance Roberts, age 88, died peacefully on April 23, 2014 at the Chateau in Moorings Park, Naples, FL. She was born in Scarsdale, NY, on January 10, 1926, to Annette and William Roberts. Along with her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Roberts Emery and daughter-in-law, Katherine Lucile Frank. Connie was graduated from Walnut Hill School, Natick, MA in 1943 and from Smith College, Northampton, MA in 1947 where she earned a degree in Art History.

Connie was married to Jerome Foote Page, Jr., in Scarsdale, NY on June 25, 1949. They lived in Cleveland, Ohio, until 1967 when they moved to Columbus, OH, Jerry’s hometown. They lived there until moving permanently to Naples, Florida, in 2009. While raising her three children, Connie was active with the Visiting Nurse’s Association, Twig 3 of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the Garden Club of America and the Little Garden Club of Columbus.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years; 3 children, Sharon Page Bode (Robert V.) of Raleigh, NC, Constance Field Page of Columbus, OH, and Jerome Foote Page, III, of New York, NY; grandchildren Richard Page Bode (Margaret W.) of Chicago, IL, Catherine Roberts Bode of Charlotte, NC, Samuel Frank Page of New Haven, CT, and Ian Daniel Page of New York, NY, and one great grandchild, Fielding Lewis Bode of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her sister, Annette Roberts McDonald of Washington, CT.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church of Bexley, Ohio, at 333 South Drexel Avenue, Bexley, Ohio 43209.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Connie’s memory to “Twig 3” c/o Mary Frances Restrepo, l57 Preston Road, Columbus, Ohio 43209, to the Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, FL 43211, or to The Garden Club of America, 14 East 60th Street, New York, NY 10022.
