Corey Ray Bias, 20, passed away on January 17, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on November 13, 1999 in Columbus to Lucinda Bias. Corey attended Johnstown Monroe Schools and graduated with honors. He played football, track, and lacrosse. He was also a member of the Johnstown Johnnies and Choir. Corey worked at the Dairy Queen and the Giant Eagle in New Albany. Corey was a scholar in the Morrill Scholarship Program. He received a full academic scholarship to The Ohio State University. He was in his second year of the political science program.
Corey will be greatly missed by his mother, Lucinda Bias; grandmother, Mary Kinder; brothers, Elijah and Ayden Williams Bias; step brother, Antonio Williams; aunts and uncles, O.J. and Alisha Bias and Bryan and Lacey Bias; and many cousins and great aunts.
A visitation will take place at Schoedinger Northeast 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230 on Saturday, February 1 from 12-2pm and 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Corey's Go Fund Me at .
