Curtis Allen Overstake

Born October 1, 1947 in Wichita, KS he grew up living in several states throughout the Midwest travelling with his family who were Officers in The Salvation Army. His love for music resonated through his entire life starting with the Three Little O’s and carrying through to his cornet playing at the Salvation Army kettles each Christmas. Later in life, golf and sharing his belief and love for Christianity became his passion.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Allen & Darlene Overstake. He is survived by his three children Curt (Heather) Traynor, Holly Faulkner and Bethany (Ryan) Repp; and four siblings Sally Overstake Broughton, Nancy Overstake, David (Denise) Overstake and Leah (Frank) Gabrielli. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Jeff, Joe, and Jack Traynor; Darien and Hope Faulkner; Carson and Sienna Repp.

Service will be held Saturday March 12th at 11am at The Salvation Army Chapel at Worthington Woods 760 Worthington Woods Blvd. Worthington, Oh 43085. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Salvation Army Chapel at Worthington Woods Music Department. We would like to thank Norman and Jackie Raymond for their friendship, love and care.
