Dan was born on August 15, 1960 in that state up North! He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Robert and beloved son Shawn Michael James.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; mother Lois; beloved daughter Brittany (Matt); stepdaughter Alyssa Harmon; stepson Jeremy Harmon; brothers Don (Annette) and Doug (Sue); sisters-in-law Michele and Lisa and brothers-in-law, Ric and Kevin. His grandchildren who meant the world to him Brooklynn Faith Harmon, Legend and Syrah Holt and numerous precious nieces and nephews.
Dan was a mechanic all of his life. He enjoyed camping, watching Nascar and football. The dogs, Ratchet, Lady and Mia will miss their Papa.
Karen would like to extend special thanks to family and neighborhood friends for all of their love and support.
Family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 from 5-7pm at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230 where a service will begin at 7pm.
