Darrell B Kaufman

Darrell Brice Kaufman passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the age of 83. Darrell was born on October 18,1939 in Waynesfield, Ohio to the late Guy and Mabel Kaufman.

Darrell came to Columbus after graduating from Waynesfield High School in 1957, to attend Bliss business school, and study accounting. Being a good Christian, he began going to Broad Street Methodist Church.

He saw Linda singing in the choir at church, where they met and became more acquainted through the adult singles group. They got married June 17, 1961 at the same church where they met.

Darrell worked at many businesses getting experience and eventually became owner of his own bookkeeping and tax service in which he operated for 35 years. Linda was his secretary and also owned a tax service in Newark, Ohio. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians (Guardians) since he was a young boy listening to them with his father on the radio. He liked OSU football and played some golf. Darrell was a member of the Columbus Masonic Lodge #30 for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Walter, Gene and sisters Avis, Marva, Barbara and Linda. Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kaufman; his children Eric Kaufman, Trent Kaufman and Amber Ferguson. He is also survived by grandchildren, Logan and Brady Kaufman, Hannah and Blake Ferguson, and Liam Kaufman. Stepchildren, Landen and Sophia. And many other friends and relatives.

Family will accept friends on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus. Masonic service will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 followed by a Funeral Service. Darrell will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.

Fellowship will follow after Graveside services at the Church of the Good Shepherd Methodist Church at 6176 Sharon Blvd, Columbus.
