Darrell Lee Sickles

A graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School. Darrell honorably served in the United States Navy, and retired from Lucent Technology with 32 ½ years of dedicated service.

He is preceded in death by parents, Harold and Jenny Sickles; and infant sister Sondra Jill. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann; daughters: Tina Hunt, Cris Greene, Karen (Jason) Mills and Kim (Todd) Duncan; grandchildren: Skyler and McKenna, Mariah and Chase, Hunter and Halle, and Christian; sister Barbara Kay Sickles; brother Pastor Jerry (Dina) Sickles; many nieces and nephews.

A dedicated Steelers and Buckeye fan. Darrell loved spending winters in Florida, and enjoyed spending time with family and telling stories.

His family will honor and celebrate a life well lived at 3:00PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus 43232, where his family will receive friends from 1:00 to the 3:00 PM service time.
