David Lee Boardwine (65) of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly from complications of pulmonary disease on March 10th, 2019 while vacationing in Punta Cana. David was born in 1954 in Welsh, West Virginia to Betty Jean and James Boardwine. David is survived by his wife and partner of 41 years, Lynn and only daughter, Julie Miller. He is preceded in death by his brother Dennis and his parents. David was excited to explore new hobbies, but his longtime passions were chess, poker and motorcycles. David worked as a systems analyst for the State of Ohio and Cardinal Health. Visitation will be at Schoedinger Funeral Home in Worthington from 3PM to 5PM on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 followed by a short service.
