David E. Bricker

Dave was a veteran of the United States Navy, honorably serving two tours in Vietnam.

Dave built a long and successful career in restaurant management. He worked with commitment and leadership at several establishments, including McDonald’s, Bob Evans, Ponderosa, and finally at Wendy’s on Maple Canyon in North Columbus for over 22 years.

An enthusiastic Ohio sports fan, Dave rooted passionately for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and could often be found watching a game or a classic western movie.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Mabel Bricker Vance, Anita Bricker Skaggs, and Lavonne Howell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jackie Bricker; his daughter, Courtney Allison Bricker; his son and daughter-in-law, Cameron David and Roseanna Bricker; and his cherished grandchildren, Leia Bricker and Aidan David Bricker. He is also survived by his brother, Harold “Bud” Bricker; sister, Linda Bricker Harbour; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved bonus family, Tyrone Fair and Corey Hill.

Family will observe private services at Schoedinger East.
