David Joseph Carrigan, 88, of Worthington, died Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was born October 8, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Ethel Carrigan. He attended LeHigh University in Bethlehem, PA and was a navigator in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. He was a member of Columbus Camera Club. His passions were photography, reading and collecting books. He contributed an article to Senior Source Magazine titled Age Lines. He had a great sense of humor and a talent for word use. He is preceded in death by Peg his wife of over fifty years, two sisters Marie Elliott and Patricia Ryan. He is survived by two daughters Cia Campbell and Meg (Graham) Scott, granddaughter Hannah Campbell, his dog and loyal companion Bailey. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270).
