

A celebration of life service for David L. Crocker, 61, will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:30pm at Schoedinger Funeral Home East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio with Andrew Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
David was born on March 13, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, to Virginia Mae Crocker and the late Frank L. Crocker. David graduated from White Hall High School 1966, then, received his B.A. Degree in Theology from Cumberland College in Kentucky. After graduating, he proudly served his country as a PFC Marine during the Vietnam War. Once returning to state side he met the love of his life Viola Hay and they celebrated over 33 years of marriage together. A pastor, mason, life time member of the VFW, devoted husband, father, and Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved his Lord with all his heart. He will be missed by all who knew him. Along with his wife and mother, survivors include; children Martha J. Crocker, Randy (Ana)Urban Jr., George R. (Teasha) Crocker; 7 grandchildren; sister Barbara (Jim) Gordon; sister-in-law Linda; brothers- in-law Elmer, Russell, and Randy. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Along with his father, David is preceded in death by his parents-in-law Luther and Billie Jean Hay.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4pm to 8pm.
