

David “ Gene” Fultz, age 78, passed away on July 21, 2010. He was born on June 15, 1932 to the late Harold and Edna Fultz. David was a proud US Navy veteran, serving his country during the Korean War on the USS Los Angeles (CA-135). After the Navy, he went to work for Western Electric where he remained for 30 years, retiring from Lucent Technologies in 1986. David loved spending time with his family, he was also an avid golfer, with a “hole in one” to his credit. His friends and family will miss his sense of humor and great stories. His family will miss his companionship, advice, and above all else, his love. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ann; children, David (Lisa), Jerry (Karen), Cheryl Winks, and Robert (Geri); grandchildren, Daniel Winks, Kristina Winks, Matthew Winks, Kelli (Jason) Porter, Kristi (Pat) Bultema, John Fultz, and Carmen Fultz; great-grandchildren, Magnolia and Alaska Winks-Adkins; brother-in-law, William (Mary) Harper; special friends, Fred and Phyllis Molter.
