David Ghiloni

Dave was captain of his Granville High School soccer team, graduated from Ohio University, and received his MBA from Boston University. Dave was a stock trader in NYC before returning to Ohio and reconnecting with Jamie, his college sweetheart. Their love for each other flourished. She had always been in his heart and he in hers. On April 24, 2016, Jamie and Dave married in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Friends and family knew Dave as a witty, quiet, considerate and selfless person who refused any kind of fanfare for himself, even on his birthday. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like drinks with friends, family and fellow Patriots and Red Sox fans, long daily “commute phone calls” with Jamie, live music, late night playing with Lucca and Tahoe, waking up before the sun, and time with family. More than anything, Dave adored his wife Jamie. With her, he found his peace: his true home.

Dave is preceded in death by his mom Ro and his ever-faithful companions Casey and Reilly. He is survived by his wife Jamie, his dad Peter, his stepchildren Lauren and Tyler, his granddaughter Georgia, his siblings Beth, Sharon, and Jon, and his nephews and nieces Madison, Nathan, Elijah, Guohua, Isabela, Yinhei, and Key’anna.

Family and friends are invited to his service this Saturday at 2:00 with visitation from 3:00-5:00 at Schoedinger Funeral Service, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Columbus, Ohio 43230. For those unable to attend, a live webcast of the service will be available at www.schoedinger.com.
