

David Ralph Green passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010. He was born on November 11, 1955, on a naval base in San Diego, Calif. to the late Ralph and Helen Green. He lived in the Columbus area and graduated from Brookhaven High School, and he worked as an HVAC technician. He earned certifications through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, and made the Dean’s List at Owens Technical College. He excelled in his work and was known for being trustworthy and dependable. There was nothing that Dave couldn’t fix, and he was also very skilled in woodworking. He was a good man, and was completely dedicated to his family. He and his wife Bonnie shared a special closeness and always knew they were brought together by their Lord. He was a member of Northeast Church of Christ, and formerly of Laurel Canyon Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bonnie Green; his sister, Sharon (Frank) Belcher; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Judy (Ted) Walters, Darlene Purcell, Charles Spaulding, Ronnie Spaulding, and Lana (Richard) Spaulding; mother-in-law, Thelma Spaulding; nieces and nephews, Lloyd, Amy, Michael, Sonja, Charlene, Richard, Gabriel, Taft, Joy, Tiffany, Charlotte, Scarlette, Cathy, Lindsay, and Emily; several great nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, church family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. On Tuesday, friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Northeast Church of Christ, 4010 State Route 605, Galena. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the church with Pastor Jerry Tackett officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
