

David J. Howard, 47, of Dublin, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 10, after a fifteen month struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on February 15, 1970 to Robert and Cynthia (Bland) Howard. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his loving wife, Bernadette (Deardorff) Howard, daughters Kelsey and Chloe Howard, a sister, Lori (Rick) Leach and his nephew Noah, of Chillicothe, Ohio. He is also survived by several in laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. David graduated from Huntington High School in Ross County where he participated in football, basketball and track. He continued his education, graduating from The Ohio State University. He was a big fan of OSU Sports and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed biking on the many trails near his home. David was employed by Cardinal Health. We wish to thank the compassionate, professional team at the OSU James Cancer Center and Ohio Health Hospice for their wonderful care. The outpouring of support during David's struggle will be forever remembered. All the prayers, cards, food and inspirational visits were so important to him and our family. We can never fully convey the positive impact you provided in our lives. David was a special, caring person. His family always came first. He was our rock, our anchor in stormy seas. His guidance and ability to navigate daily issues will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will take place Sunday February 25, 2018 at 2pm at Amelita Mirolo Barn 4395 Carriage Hill Lane, Upper Arlington OH.
