

David Wesley McVay, 61, of Blacklick, OH, died suddenly with his wife by his side on August 26, 2013. He was born on March 19, 1952 in Coshocton, OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Beverly; son and his wife, Aaron and Chelsea; mother, Violet McVay Morrison; brother and spouse, Ernie and Lisa McVay; sister and spouse, Carol McVay and Greg; sister-in-law, Rebecka McVay; nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. David was the Executive and Clinical Director of the charitable organization, Whitehall CAP Life Counseling Services. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed all types of sports, especially the Buckeyes. He also loved fishing, being with his family and discussing the stock market with his son. He was a past member of Coshocton Church of Christ. David was preceded in death by his father, Chester McVay; brother, Al McVay; and sister, Martha McVay. The family will receive friends from 4pm-6pm, Friday, September 6, 2013 with a Memorial Service immediately following at 6pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.)
