Tim Powell, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born on November 13, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Hershel and Minnie (Long) Powell. Tim enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Timmy Powell; grandson, Nick Mogavero; and son-in-law, Mark Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Edie (Cooley) Powell; daughters, Donna Phillips and Terri (David) Fairchild; daughter-in-law, Candida Powell; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two siblings; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Thursday at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, February 25, 2022.
