John and I and our adult children have great memories of Dave Risinger. John and our children attended St.Joseph Cathedral downtown from the time our children entered 4th and 6th grades all the way through high school graduation. I am a Protestant, so I was not a regular at St. Joseph's Cathedral. I attended all the social events, and there were many special events. Dave and his children, who are about our children's ages, attended St. Joseph's too. I don't think I was ever there when he wasn't in the kitchen serving coffee and donuts on Sundays and spaghetti dinners on Fat Tuesday. He was always working at the many special events. We knew David and his family through difficult days and very happy days. We had the greatest respect for David as a hard-working, devout, fine, and principled man.Though we hadn't seen him for a good while, we very much missed him and the other wonderful families who have since passed on. This was a very special time in our lives, and we want to express our deepest condolences to Sandra, Lisa, and Brian and their families. I met Sandra at St. Joseph's Cathedral, and as it turned out her sister and brother-in-law were members at Worthington United Methodist Church, my church of many years and Sandra's church for several year now.Dave may be gone, but he will certainly not be forgotten.

We were saddened to hear about David’s passing here at Provider Physicians North.  We will miss his infectious laugh and Witty sense of humor the most.  He always brought a smile to our faces that’s for sure.  We send our condolences to the family.

As a friend of Brian, Lisa, and Debi since grade school, I remember Mr. Risinger as a kind, fun-loving person with a huge smile and laugh that literally filled the room.  You are all good people and I feel for you in your time of loss.  I know you will miss him greatly and that is a good thing.  Hold on to the memories, it is what keeps him alive.  I love you all.

I was saddened to hear of David's passing. David and his parents (Red and Helen) were our neighbors on Timberman Rd many years ago. I will always remember how kind David was to our family during that time.

    I have long been indebted  to you for hiring me in 1972. At last, I had a job that was a "keeper".  For 19 years I looked forward to coming to work because of the trust that you extended to me and the empathy that you extended to your staff. Our friendship has endured for nearly 50 years. It says something that when I phone guys to arrange a group lunch, guys who have not worked together under your supervision for 30 years, many first ask if you are coming to preface their decision to come.
    You are loved and respected by many ----yours has been a life well lived !
