

Mr. Worden was born in Newark on November 5, 1923 to the late William and Ruby (Kaldt) Worden. He died Friday April 30, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was 86.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Wilma Mae (Howes), twin sister Doris E. Ryan and brother Walter (Doug) Worden.
He is survived by his children Larry Worden of Reynoldsburg, Thomas (Tammy) Worden of Reynoldsburg, and Cynthia Worden of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren Travis A. Worden, Tyler J.Griggs, Chyna L. Dickenson, and Calyn M. Worden. Great grandchildren Sydney Griggs and Mackenzie Worden, numerous nieces, nephews and good friends at Life Center Adult Care at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. David was a member of the Newark HS Class of ’42, Newark Masonic Lodge, Newark Commandry, Knight Templars, and Tehran Grotto. He was a tool and die engineer with Newark Stove, Western Electric and Rockwell Intl. David was also very artistic with sea shell designs when he and his wife lived in Florida for over twenty years, he also loved to golf and go camping, and enjoyed many cruises with his family.
