Deidre Beverly Bainbridge

Deidre Andrews Bainbridge, of Upper Arlington died late January 19, 2015. Born July 29, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Graduate of Scottdale Pennsylvania High School and Washington Pennsylvania School of Nursing (RN).

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Beverly Andrews. Deidre married Thomas “Tim” Bainbridge on June 18, 1966.

Survived by her loving husband and sons, Tom, Andrew (Katy), Brian (Nikki); grandchildren, Emma Bainbridge, Todd Bainbridge and Bowen Bainbridge with another anticipated grandchild. Also brothers, Bill Andrews (Deborah) of Jannette, PA., Barry Andrews (Kris) of Pittsburgh, PA, Tim Andrews (Cindy) of Greensburg, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne Scotti (Rich) of Bexley; nieces Kali Andrews, Katy Andrews; nephews, B.J. Andrews and Joel Andrews (Jaime). Deidre had been a nurse at Ohio Health Riverside for years.

But also spent years as an artist attending many art shows locally and regionally with her dear friend, Barbara Guzzo. She truly loved this phase of her life. She was immensely loyal and very proud of her family which she loved dearly. She was a special and strong friend to many. Our family thanks the wonderful staff at Sunrise on the Scioto, the nurses and caregivers of HomeReach Hospice and Dr. Sharre (OSU) and his staff.

Friends may call from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.

Funeral service will begin at 11 am, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at ST. MARK’S EPISCOPAL, 2151 Dorset Rd., Upper Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
