You were a great brother and it hurts that you are gone, I know that time will heal my broken heart but the memories that we have shared while you were here will be with me for the rest of my life. I can remember when we were kids how much fun we always had. Then one day we all grew up and had family's of our own and the times that we would get together really meant a lot. God was ready for you. Now you will be riding in his army.

Lit a candle in memory of Delbert Arthur Robinson

Delbert you were the most selfless man I ever had the pleasure of knowing.  Always there to give a helping hand or take anyone in that needed a place.  When I first met you we sat down and had a few beers and you let me know that under no certain terms, that I was going to have to take care of your baby sister.  You were a great father, brother, brother in-law, and friend, which I was proud to call you, not only my brother in-law but my friend too.
Unlike others, you weren't afraid to go to Iraq when your Country called for your service, you have to be one of the bravest men I've ever known.
You will be greatly missed, I love you bro.

Blue! Oh the memories we made. I can go on for hours about the shenanigans that went on as we tried to pass time in Iraq. I cant help but revert back to all the Iraqi Nationals that would wake me up asking in what little English they could find... "is blue here?" they wanted to know because blue was well known for giving what little he had over there to make a difference in the lives of those that had less. He was loved by many, over here and over there. My favorite memory will always be sitting with you on the "porch" that you build on your trailer. We told jokes, watched sunsets, blew off steam and talked about life. You are missed my friend. rest in peace brother

So sorry to hear of Delbert's passing.  I had the opportunity to get to know him from Rickenbacker at the dining hall.  He was always such a kind and nice man who I enjoyed getting to know.  God Bless!

"Blue" was a wonderful person to serve with.  On any given day I could see him smile.  Thanks for the rock bunnies and the memories.  You will be missed by every one whose life you touched. My prayers are with your family.  Thank you for sharing him.

I have lot's of wonderful memories with Delbert; learning how to drive (of course we couldn't tell Dad), bringing home Joseppi's pizza when he would come home from work late, his love of animals's ( I think he was a dog whisperer) our German Shepard growing up wouldn't let anyone near her when she was eating with the exception of Delbert.   I remember how he loved a clean house; when we were kid's he would lock us outside so he could get the house cleaned and I wanted to go inside and he wouldn't let me so I pounded on the door until I broke the glass and gashed my hand open, had to get quite a few stitches and have a lifelong scar as a memory.  I will think about you everyday Delbert and will find peace knowing where you are and who you are with now. Give my love to Mom and Dad and let them know I miss them too.  Love you forever, your lil' sis, Cathy.

My favorite memory of Delbert, would be when he and his best girl (as he called her) Mary McCoy would babysit us younger kids while Daddy and Mommy went out on a double date, and Delbert and Mary would sneak Daddy's car and they always took me, and they would each give me a dollar not to tell Daddy that they snuck the car, then when Daddy and Mommy would get home, Daddy would give me 2 dollars to tell him if Delbert snuck and used the car, and I always told!  Delbert never got mad at me, he would just tickle me until I cried and yelled uncle.......he always introduced me to people as his baby sister, even as a 50 year old woman he still called me his baby sister .....I love you infinity Delbert, I will miss you everyday until I join you and Daddy and Mommy ?
