Loved beyond words, our precious mom, Delores “Nookie” St. Clair, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on February 11, 2022, having been surrounded by family and friends.
She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and excelled at loving her family; husband, Charles T. St. Clair III; children, Beverly, Charles, Davis; son-in-law, John; grandchildren, Halo and Tiara; sisters, Norvell and Pam; their children; brother-in-law, Gordon; and her dear, cherished friends. She was one of those extraordinary people who embraced every moment with each of them…as a gift.
She had an established reputation for supporting family and friends through the many passions of their lives, while enjoying her special interests. A passionate gardener, entertainer, dog-lover, and gourmet cook, when she wasn’t filling her home with her exceptional warmth and kindness, she could be found in her kitchen testing a new recipe or creating special touches to make times together even more memorable and beautiful.
And whether it was supporting family, friends, associates, or community interests – like the Columbus Symphony; her children’s activities; or, at her workplace with Dr. Graver, Avery, Marshall, and Underwood, or notarizing an important document -- she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. She always knew how to brighten someone's day and make them feel loved.
Her special touches, charm, grace, wisdom, and treasured heart – filled with an extraordinary abundance of love – will be missed beyond measure.
Please share thoughts and memories at www.schoedinger.com The family is planning a celebration of her precious life in the coming weeks.
