Dennis Ray Hughes, 66, died May 11, 2013. He was born May 27, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Clifford and Delphie (Daugherty) Hughes. He loved to spend time in his back yard tending to his garden and his landscaping. Denny is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Doris; son, Dennis (Andrea) Hughes Jr.; daughter, Kim Ritzler; grandchildren, Erica Ritzler, Aaron Ritzler, Bryan Ritzler, Nicholas Hughes, and Margo Hughes; sister, Karen (Harry) Brockman; sister-in-law, Diana Hull; 4 nephews and their families; and special friends, Bob and Flo Peoples and Jay and Cheryl Peoples. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl Rd. Graveside service will be held 11 AM Thursday at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, 43202. Contributions in Dennis’ memory may be made to the Kobacker House.
