Diane N. Davis

Diane N. (Denney) Davis was born March 12, 1947 to parents Harold and Masell (Dorman) Denney in Gahanna Ohio. Diane was Married to William E Davis on January 11th 1963 and had three children, Shirley, Bill, and Jeff. She was the baby sister of eight sisters and one brother. Although the boy, (Butty, as she would call him) was technically the youngest, Diane definitely was treated as the baby by all. Diane loved to be stylish and definitely was treated like the "Princess Di" that she was. She was a lung transplant recipient in 2002, and put up a good, strong fight for 19 years (our Terminator!) She departed this life on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Diane is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 52 years, William E. Davis; son Jeffrey Thomas Davis; her parents Harold and Masell; step-mother Beatrice Denney; and sisters Linda Humphrey, Audrey Harris, Mary McManis, Joanne Lawry, and Edith Yee.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shirley (George) Rodriguez; son William E. Davis Jr.; sisters Helen Denney and Francis Reames; and brother Butch Denney. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 11am - 1pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Masks are mandatory for all guests, and attendance levels will be monitored in compliance with social distancing regulations. A private funeral service will be held at 1pm. Due to COVID-19 regulations, attendance at the funeral service is limited to family only. For those wishing to be present in spirit, a live webcast of the funeral service will be available on Diane's Tribute Wall shortly before the service begins. All viewers are invited to join the procession from the funeral home to Mifflin Cemetery following the conclusion of the webcast.
