Diane Lefchik

Diane was born November 14th, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia to Robert and Betty Jo Thiele. She graduated from The University of North Georgia in 1976 with a BS in Early Childhood Education. She met her life-long love, Tom, at Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta and they married in 1978. They moved to Ames, Iowa; Topeka, Kansas; Springfield, Illinois, and Gahanna, Ohio where they have resided for the past 28 years.

Diane loved the Lord faithfully, she was devoted to her husband and children, and poured her love and life into them in every way. She enjoyed reading and researching, walking outdoors, photographing nature, and attending Southern Gospel concerts. Everyone knew her as a sweet woman and a loyal friend.

Diane is survived by her husband, Thomas Lefchik; her two children, Christopher Lefchik, Hannah (Joe) Helpman; her grandson, Ellis Helpman; and her two siblings, Andy (Alicia) Thiele, Tim (Karen) Thiele.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 26th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where a service will be held on Wednesday December 27 at 1pm with an hour prior of visiting.
