

Donald Joseph Brennan, 80, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. He was born to the late Clarence and Ruth Brennan on May 14, 1931 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Don had a passion for life, especially for his work as a teacher, coach and businessman, and with his hobbies as an avid Bengal and Packer fan, working in the yard and playing poker. He was a Veteran, active at St. Paul’s, OPBA President and member of Westerville South Boosters. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Joan. He is survived by loving children, Lisa (Robert) Barford, Kevin (Jessica) Brennan, Julie (Gregg Slack) Brennan, Jill (Shawn) Passen; sister, Joan (Duke) Brennan Cuene; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kara, Kelly, Patrick, Lindsay, Alex, Maxwell, and Olivia; nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, November 28, 2011 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, OH 43082 with Father David E. Gwinner Celebrant and Deacon Tom Barford Homilist. Friends may call from 4pm-6pm Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington with a prayer service beginning at 5:30 pm. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH 43221.
