Donald Lee Hackney, age 61, of Columbus, died unexpectedly at Mt. Carmel Emergency Department Franklinton. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Kathryn and Lloyd Hackney; sister, Kay Demestro; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Hackney. He is survived by his loving sons, Donald (Jessica) Oakley) Hackney II and Terry Lee Hackney; grandsons, Donald Lee Hackney III and Daniel James Hackney; siblings, Terry, Pete and Carol Hackney; other relatives and many friends. Friends will be received from 4-7pm Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger - Hilltop Chapel, 3030 West Broad Street.
