Donald A. McPeek

On December 9, 2020, Donald McPeek, a loving husband, father, son, brother, and relative, passed away at the age of 64. Don was born on May 3, 1956 to Clara McPeek-Dixon and Ellis McPeek. On October 26, 1991, he married Anna Lunsford and they raised two children together, Deanna and Matthew McPeek. He was an inventory coordinator at Michelin Tires for over 20 years before retiring. He spent the rest of his years as a stay-at-home father where he devoted his time to ensure his children were loved and successful. Don was a memorable man who was loved by so many for his warm smile, infectious laugh, and quick wit. He had the ability to make everyone feel cared for and connected by just walking into the room. No matter the trials and tribulations he endured, he fought them with a smile and a couple jokes up his sleeve. His loving spirit touched everyone he came into contact with and radiated pure humanity. Don was preceded in death by his father, Ellis McPeek, and brother, Steve McPeek. He is survived by his mother, Clara, his wife, Anna, his two children, Deanna and Matthew, his brother Kevin, his sister Kathy, and an extended family of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place Friday, December 18, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN FUNERAL HOME, 229 E. State St. from 11am to 1pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm, and will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend. Interment will take place at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, Ohio.
