

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harland and Bernice Moore; son, Matthew Moore; and his siblings, Pat, Bill, Ida, Tom and Maggie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Moore of 62 years; children, Andrew, Peter (Tammy), Rebecca, and Adam (Amie); grandchildren, Dylan (Jessica), Blaine, Victoria, Carter, Spencer, and Meredith; and great grandchildren, Harland and Maverick.
Don was an army sergeant during the Korean War, after which he attended MSU, graduating with a master’s degree in micro paleontology. Following graduation, he and his wife Barbara were married and he had a fulfilling career before retiring in 1992 from Dow Chemical.
He enjoyed many hobbies including boy scouts in his early life, wood working, reading, home improvement, geology, history, and spending time with family and friends.
Don was an active member of the Episcopal church and will be remembered most for his contagious smile and kind heart. He donated his time to support many local organizations and causes, including the Medina Community Band, the Kiwanis, and the Medina Hospital.

Due to COVID, a memorial service will be postponed until it can be safely held.
