Donald Lamar Morris

Donald LaMar Morris, 79 of Dublin, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 after complications from a fall in August. He was born in Dubois, PA on July 30, 1935 to James M. and A. Leona Morris. After spending 31 years at ITT Grinnell in Warren, Ohio he retired in 1984 as their manufacturing manager. He then spent an additional 11 years in Henderson Tennessee as manufacturing manager of their plant. He retired again in 1994. Don's passions were his family and anything they were involved in. He was the Greatest Steelers Fan in The Steelers Nation and he passed this great love on to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was also a member of The Moose Lodge as well as The Elks. Don was generous, personable, and kind-hearted. He loved and was well loved. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly JoAnne (BoAnne); 5 children, David L Morris (Kathy) of Miamisburg; Ohio, Linda Cole (Mike) of Smithfield, R I; Jeff Morris of Warren, Ohio; Pam Morris of Saxonburg Pa; Amy Felicetty (Russell) of Hilliard, Ohio. He is survived by 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was also "Uncle Donnie" to many loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James (Buzz); and 2 sisters, Bea Wallace and Lorena (Renee) Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Chapel at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, OH. Family will receive friends at 1pm.
