Donald R. Schuster

He was preceded in death by his wife, Waneta; son, Jerry; infant son, Michael; and sister, Barbara Martin. Don is survived by his son, Timothy (Marianne); daughter, Joan (Jim) McDonough; grandchildren, Amy and Jimmy McDonough, Laura (Eric) Biehl and Mark Schuster; greatgrandchild, Cole Biehl; brother-in-law, Orval Martin; and cousin, Dorothy Buchman.

Don served in the United States Army during World War II. He survived the Battle of the Bulge and was a Purple Heart recipient. Don was an engineer and retired from White Consolidated Industries, where he had a minimum of 5 patents in his name. He was a founding member of St. Timothy Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43220. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
