Donald L. Shaw

Donald L. Shaw, age 74 of Westerville, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. Donald was born and raised in Delaware, Ohio, only child of the late Bernard and Martha Shaw. Donald graduated from Delaware Hayes High School and Ohio Wesleyan University where he studied economics. Donald was a hardworking man who worked as a CPA throughout his career. He was a lover of music and history and was a collector at heart. He was a compassionate, dedicated, and courageous man who fought cancer with the same vigor he demonstrated in his daily life. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Peggy Shaw; children, Jeffrey Shaw, Cari (David) Daube, and Rob Steward; grandchildren, Andrew and Megan Shaw, Madilyn, Caitlyn, Dylan, and Cameron Daube, and Ethan and Ryan Steward; and many other extended family members and dear friends. A memorial service celebrating Donald's life will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 4, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Central Ohio, 966 E.
