Donna Marie Rigsby, age 55, passed away in the presence of her devoted husband on September 1, 2018 after a courageous 2 year battle with Liver Cancer. She was born in Orlando Florida to her parents John Kirk and Mary Gonzales on July 5, 1963. Donna worked for Cardinal Health for a number of years, and she also enjoyed the work she did as a Volunteer Firefighter for Williamsport and an EMT for Williamsport and Deercreek Emergency Squad. She married her husband Kenneth on May 5th, 2000 and they enjoyed 18 years of a wonderful marriage together. Donna was a giving person, and was always there if she was needed. When she loved, she gave her whole heart; and she had room for everyone. She loved animals, and spending time with her dog Luke at Deercreek was one of her favorite activities. She was always busy, and was determined to accomplish anything she set her mind to. She remained strong and positive through her illness, and made it a point to continue being active. Donna will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Donna is preceded in death by her mother and her brothers David and Dan Kirk. Left to mourn her passing is her husband Kenneth, who remained by her side with unwavering love and support; her sister Della Clark; her beloved pets: Luke the dog and Baby the cat; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Following Donna’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, Circleville. In Donna’s memory, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or The Rainbow Fund of Berger Hospital.
