Doris Brown, long-time resident of Luckey, passed away on January 17, the day before her 99th birthday. In her later years, she resided with family at 5305 Courtney Place, Columbus, 43235. She was a member of the church choirs at Zion Lutheran-Luckey and Advent Lutheran-Columbus. Born to Martin and Edith Brueggemeier, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Reynold, and brothers, Donald and Dale, all WW II veterans. Surviving her are sons, James (Clara) and Gerald; granddaughter, Erika Chapman (Jeremy); grandson, Nicholas (Ana); and great grandson, Samuel. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests that Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3600 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43220 or Zion Lutheran Church, 303 Park Dr. Luckey, OH 43443 receive your consideration for memorials. A memorial service will take place at Advent Lutheran on February 23, 11:00 am.
