Doris C. Colby, age 91, passed away at Dublin Methodist Hospital on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. A home maker, loving and devoted wife, and wonderful mother. She is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Colby. Doris is survived by her loving husband of almost 69 years, Hugh (Skip) Colby; sons, Richard (Lynn) Colby, Fred (Robyn) Colby, Donald (Susanne) Colby; grandchildren, Hannah, (Dan) Reed, Lauren Colby, Elizabeth Colby, Danielle (Derek) Opblinger. Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Thursday, September 8, from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 12 p.m. (Noon) with inurnment to immediately follow at Old Union Cemetery on Olentangy River Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Doris's memory.
